Does ConsentCraft work with my Shopify theme?
Yes. ConsentCraft is a Shopify Theme App Extension and works with every Shopify theme — including Online Store 2.0 themes, Dawn, Horizon, and third-party themes. No code changes are required.
What is Consent Mode v2 and do I need it?
Consent Mode v2 is a Google requirement for all EU advertisers since March 2024. Without it, Google Ads loses the ability to model conversions for visitors who decline cookies, which means your ROAS and attribution data becomes unreliable. If you run Google Ads targeting EU or UK visitors, you need Consent Mode v2. ConsentCraft implements both Basic and Advanced modes automatically.
How does the email capture work?
When a visitor opens the consent banner, ConsentCraft can optionally display an email input and a discount offer (e.g. “Get 10% off your first order”). Visitors who provide their email and accept consent are added to your Shopify customer list with a generated discount code. The discount offer is configured in your ConsentCraft admin panel.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel from your Shopify admin under Apps → ConsentCraft → Plan → Cancel. No email required. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds within 30 days are processed without negotiation — email us.
